DNSSEC security extensions available for all .CL domains
NIC Chile announces that the system for DNS Security Extensions (DNSSEC) is now available to all customers who have .CL domain names.
As announced previously, NIC Chile implemented the new DNSSEC in April 2011, when the .CL zone was signed. From now on, NIC Chile may receive cryptographic key from customers who have enabled DNSSEC in their zones under. CL. This means that NIC Chile has completed the deployment of this security extension, from the DNS root to the end user.
During 2012, the project will continue with training services and the publishing of educational information on this subject, including coordination with Internet Service Providers that are willing to enable DNSSEC validating resolvers in their DNS system.
