Margarita Valdes, Legal and Business Director of NIC Chile, has been elected to the Council of the Country Code Names Supporting Organization (ccNSO), a position she will take at the conclusion of the ICANN meeting in San Jose, Costa Rica, in March 2012 .

The ccNSO is a support organization of ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) responsible for the development of policies for country-code top level domain registries (ccTLDs) worldwide.
