Conflicts about domain registrations

During the publication period any other interested party may file another competing application for the same domain name.

At the end of the 30 days, the application is deleted if still unpaid or documentation not received. Otherwise, the domain is assigned to the applicant unless there is opposition from third parties.

If there is a conflict, it is solved by mediation, or if that fails, by arbitration. Arbiter is chosen by the parties, or by NIC Chile if they do not agree.
